The Department of Economics expresses its deepest sorrow for the loss of the former Rector and Professor Emeritus of the Department, Petros Gemtou.

The deceased was a Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Economic Sciences, a distinguished personality in the Scientific and University Community with multiple contributions.
