INFORMATION FOR FUTURE STUDENTS

Organization

Each academic year is divided into teaching periods called semesters: Winter (A') and Spring (B').

The tests are held in three periods:

  • January: Courses of the first semester
  • June: Courses of the second semester
  • September: Repeat examinations of both semesters

The minimum duration of undergraduate studies is 8 semesters, with teaching through deliveries, seminars and assignments.

Participation in the examinations - Course declarations

A prerequisite for the examinations is the compulsory course declaration. Students can declare:

Semester Maximum number of courses
1st - 4th 6 courses / semester
5th - 8th 8 courses / semester
9th and after 10 courses / semester

The course declaration is made:

  • November for the first examination period (January)
  • April for the second examination period (June)

Attention: Failure to submit the declaration in time will result in disqualification from the tests.

Degree level

The degree degree is calculated as the average of the grades of all the courses required to complete the studies.

3rd & 4th Year of Studies

Students are required to take advanced and elective courses.
