| Short biography | Professor Stelios Kotsios is a scientist in the field of Applied Mathematics with specialization in Control Theory, Dynamic Systems, Dynamic Economics and Computational Mathematics. He has a long-standing academic and research presence since 1983, combining theoretical training with applications to complex problems in engineering, economics and decision-making. He has published 97 scientific papers, of which 55 in international scientific journals and volumes and 42 in conference proceedings, while in 27 of them he is the sole author. He is also the author of four books and has supervised the completion of six doctoral theses and eight master's theses. He has participated in numerous scientific conferences and has evaluated papers for more than thirty international journals and conferences. His research contributions have been internationally recognized through a significant number of scientific reports. He has taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses and has significant experience in the administration of academic units and in the management of highly specialized human resources. He has served as chairman of the Department of Economics of the National University of Athens, is chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eugenideion Hospital, and is Advisor to the Rector of the National University of Athens. |
