Dr. Haroula Ntelopoulou is an economist and member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (E.DI.P.) at the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), specializing in "Electronic Services for Economy and Administration. She holds a PhD in Informatics from NKUA and an MSc in Techno-Economic Systems from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is a member of the Political Economy of Sustainable Development Lab (https://pesd.econ.uoa.gr/) and has served as the academic coordinator for internship placement. With over 30 years of academic experience, she teaches "Electronic Business" and "Electronic Governance" to domestic and international students (Erasmus/Civis). Her published work includes international journals and books.She serves as a reviewer for international publishers and conferences (Elsevier, IGI, HICSS, etc.) and is a member of the Expert Committee of "The European DIGITAL SME Alliance" based in Brussels (https://www.digitalsme.eu/digital-sme-scientific-committee/). In her applied fieldwork, she participated in the core team for the design and implementation of the prototypes for the national e-democracy and transparency platforms "OPENGOV" (https://www.opengov.gr/home/) and "DIAVGEIA" (https://diavgeia.gov.gr/) for the Ministry of Digital Governance. These constitute two pivotal digital milestones that radically transformed Greek public administration, institutionalizing transparency, accountability, and public consultation. |
