Presentation of the SED at EKPA and Award of Certificates of Attendance to the Students

The Association of Investors and Internet (AIF), in the framework of its annual action to inform and educate the academic community, held on Wednesday 12 November 2025 special presentation at Department of Economics of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA). The event was held in the context of the course "Economics of Business" of the Professor Demetrios Kainourgiou.
The presentation at EKPA is part of the broader programme of visits of the SED to five Greek universities during the month of November, in collaboration with distinguished professors.
Aim and Content of the Event
The aim of the action at the UCA was to enhance the students' investment literacy and to familiarize them with the role, initiatives and working groups of the SED. The programme included:
- Brief presentation of the ETS and its axes of action.
- Presentation
- of Investment Education & Training Programme and
- of Monitoring of the General Meetings of the Listed Companies.
- Presentation of the Secretariat and Working Groups of the ETS, with emphasis on the participation of new members and volunteers.
- Presentation of the 23rd Investment & Stock Exchange Conference, which will take place on 13-14 December 2025 in Athens.

The event was also attended by the First Vice President of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission Michael Fekkas, who presented the actions of the Committee on Financial Education.
Also, female students from the secretariat of the SED described their experience from their participation in the activities of the SED. The organizational support was provided by the members of the SED Secretariat: Dora Demopoulou, Maria Kazakou, Dionysis Kornelatos, Pigi Matzouka and Tigran Ghalumyan.
Award of Certificates
After the presentations, the participating students received monitoring certificates, signed by Professor Dimitrios Kainourgiou and the President of the SED Bambi Englezos, sealing the successful cooperation between the University and the Association.
