It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Georgios Krimpas, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Economics.
Georgios Krimpas had served as President of the Department of Economics of the University of Athens (1982-1989), Vice-Rector of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1986-1989) and Dean of the School of Law, Economics and Political Sciences of the University of Athens (1989-1992).
The Department of Economics expresses its full support and warm condolences to the family of the dear colleague.
The civil funeral of Georgios H. Krimpas will take place on Tuesday 4/3/2025 at 11:30 am at the First Cemetery of Athens.
