The Joint Economic Research Seminar Series (JERS) is an online meeting place for faculty members and researchers of collaborating Departments of Economics from eight Greek universities:
- University of Piraeus (host)
- National & Kapodistrian University of Athens
- University of Macedonia
- Athens University of Economics and Business
- University of Crete
- University of Ioannina
- Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
- University of Patras
The aim of the JERS is the creation of an interactive research community from the majority of the country's Economics Departments with the ultimate goal of disseminating knowledge, strengthening interdepartmental cooperation and extroversion of the Greek Economics Departments using new technologies (platforms) communication.
