Announcement - Applications for Graduates' Oath of Office September 2025

We would like to inform you that the swearing in of the students who have completed their studies  during the examination period SEPTEMBER 2025, will take place on 15/12/2025 day MONDAY , in the central ceremony hall of the University of Athens (30 Panepistimiou Street -), at the following levels:

1th  CLIMB (Arrival 08.00 am) From A to K

2th CLIMB (Arrival 10.00 am) From M to Z

The candidates do NOT need to arrive earlier than the above time per echelon.  

  • The breakdown CANNOT BE CHANGED
  • The presentation of a police identity card or other public identification document is compulsory for applicants.
  • Maximum number of visitors four (4) per student

In order to take part in the swearing-in ceremony, students must apply by 11/11/2025 until 19/11/2025 exclusively electronic at the following e-mail address  ololi@econ.uoa.gr  the following (in the subject line of the email you will write your name and your name):

In the TO field write "Secretariat of the Department of Economics and Business Administration - ECPA"

Use lower case characters with accentuation (e.g. Vandoros) for correct pronunciation of your name (either in the subject of the mail or in the declaration of responsibility)

In the text of the PDO, please indicate

"I accept the terms and conditions of participation in the live swearing-in ceremony according to the 11-11-25 announcement of the Secretariat of my department and I wish to participate in the graduate swearing-in ceremony to be held on 15/12/2025. I also declare that the number of my reviewers will be up to four (4)"

  • Graduates wishing to take a political oath are required to they explicitly state this in the declaration and the commitment is final as a different procedure is followed.
  • Graduates who cannot (with documentary evidence) be present at a ceremony in general, can apply guidance exception. You will need one application to the departmental secretariat (within the specified application period and entry in the eprotocol.uoa.gr - #1 General Application), together with a certificate (e.g. a certificate of employment or residence abroad or outside Attica or a certificate for personal reasons (e.g. workload) so that they cannot take the oath in physical presence but can receive their copy of their degree at a second time after the ceremony.
