On Friday 30 May at 16:00-19:00, at Panteion University (library hall), will be held training seminar in the framework of the European Research Project SDG4U - Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals for Transformative Education and Enhanced Sustainability in Universities, coordinated by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
The project SDG4U, funded by the programme Erasmus+ KA220 - HED, focuses on the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Higher Education. The aim is to promote innovative teaching approaches through the development of a digital mapping tool, new educational methodologies, learning modules, seminars and awareness-raising activities within university communities.
This seminar is part of the educational action "Train the Trainers", a key initiative of the project, aimed at empowering university trainers. Through the seminar, participants will become familiar with tools and methodologies for integrating SBA into both teaching and institutional practices of institutions, promoting a sustainable and transformative educational approach.
The seminar is structured in four thematic modules:
- Introduction to SBA and Higher Education
- Interdisciplinary Learning
- Multi-stakeholder collaborative learning
- Learning through Action
Each module includes presentations, hands-on exercises, workshops and open discussions, aiming to develop interactive and innovative teaching practices. Participants will have the opportunity to design lessons or activities based on SBA and to exchange good practices with colleagues from different academic fields.
The seminar is addressed to faculty members (and the wider teaching staff) who wish to act as change agents in their organisations, promoting the sustainability, the social responsibility and the active global citizenship.
To facilitate participation, the seminar is offered in three formats:
- In person at Panteion University
- Mixed participation (hybrid)
- Asynchronous monitoring through recorded sessions after the event
Participation in the seminar is free of charge, but registration is required via the link below:
