Scientific event on "Dimensions of Sustainability at the University. Theory, Research and Practice".

The Political Economy of Sustainable Development Laboratory of the National Academy of Sciences of Athens, the Laboratory of Sociology of Education and Culture of Panteion University, the UN Hellenic Network of Solutions for Sustainable Development, the MSc in Philosophy and Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Athens, the European research project SDG4U, and the ACG Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development are organizing a special scientific event on Dimensions of Sustainability at the University. Theory, Research and Practice.

The event will take place on Monday 6 October from 10:00-20:00.

In the first part, two new books on Sustainable Development will be presented, edited by Professor Andreas Papandreou and Dr. Antonios Alevisos.

The second part will include a live seminar dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on their connection to the campus and the daily operation of the University, as well as a webinar in which the European research project SDG4U will be presented (participants will receive certificates of attendance).

In the third part, a hackathon will take place, in which student teams will work on specific thematic challenges. The resulting ideas will be presented in front of a jury, with the aim of highlighting and awarding the best ones, as well as exploring the possibility of piloting them.
