Christos Pierros is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. of the University of Athens with a field of study in Political Economy. His research interests interests concern income distribution, economic growth, political economy, financialization and stock-flow consistent modelling. He completed his doctoral thesis at the National University of Athens (2018), while in the period 2020-2023 was a post-doctoral researcher in the same department. In addition, he was a post doctoral researcher for the period 2023-2025 at Panteion University (ELIDEK program). He worked for a number of years as a researcher at the Institute GSEE's work with the research subject concerning macroeconomics and financial conditions of the Greek economy. He is a research associate of the European Trade Union Institute, while he has participated in a research project project of the University of Bogotá and the French development bank Agence Française de Développement. His research has been published in international scientific journals. |
