Short biography	Dionysios Flambouras was born in 1973. He studied law at the Law School of the University of Athens, from where he graduated in 1996. He holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Bristol (LL.M. in Commercial Law, 1997) and the University of Oxford (M.St. in Legal Research and Transnational Commercial Law, 1999) and a doctorate from the Law School of the University of Athens (2006). His scientific interests focus on civil law with an emphasis on transaction law, banking law and international trade law with an emphasis on the international sale of movables. He has published 3 monographs, 2 textbooks and a large number of studies in Greek and international law journals with a large number of bibliographies and frequently lectures. He is a Barrister of Athens since 1997 and a Solicitor of England and Wales since 2001. He has worked for a number of years in large law firms in Athens and London and since 2026 has been a partner at the law firm Karatzas and Associates where he specializes in banking and financial law issues.
