The inaugural meeting of the new lecture series \"Economy and Society\" was successfully held at the Library of the Department of Economics of the University of Athens, on the occasion of the book presentation of the new work of Mr.Michalis Psalidopoulos American Economists and the Greek Economy, 1947-62 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2025).<\/p>\n
The author presented the main theses of the book, which analyses the policies implemented in Greece after the Second World War, and the relationship between Greek, American and British economists and technocrats who played a central role in the formulation of economic policies.<\/p>\n
