The Greek Government was represented by the Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and Professor Mr.\u00a0<strong>Kostas Vlasis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration ceremony was also attended by: the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mrs.\u00a0<strong>Anita Demetriou<\/strong>, the former President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr.\u00a0<strong>Nicos Anastasiades<\/strong>, the Minister for Education and\u00a0<strong>Athena Michaelidou<\/strong>, the Minister of Defence Mr.\u00a0<strong>Vassilis Palmas<\/strong>, the Minister of Justice and Public Order Mr.\u00a0<strong>Marios Hartsiotis<\/strong>, the State Secretary to the President, Ms\u00a0<strong>Irene Piki<\/strong>, the Deputy Minister of State for Migration and International Protection Mr.\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Ioannidis<\/strong>, the Government Spokesman Mr.\u00a0<strong>Konstantinos Letibiotis<\/strong>, the Ambassador of Greece in Cyprus Mr.\u00a0<strong>Konstantinos Kolias<\/strong>, the parliamentary representative of AKEL Mr.\u00a0<strong>Christos Christofides<\/strong>, the President of the Democratic Party Mr.\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Papadopoulos<\/strong>, the President of the National Popular Front Mr.\u00a0<strong>Christos Christou<\/strong>, the representative of the Social Democratic Movement Mr.\u00a0<strong>Morfakis Solomonides.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the Local Government, the Mayor of Larnaca Mr.\u00a0<strong>Andreas Vyras<\/strong>, the Mayor of Athienou Mr.\u00a0<strong>Kyriakos Kareklas<\/strong>, the Mayor of Aradippou Mr.\u00a0<strong>Christodoulos Partou<\/strong>, the Mayor of Kyrenia Mr.\u00a0<strong>Joseph Violaris<\/strong>\u00a0and representatives of the municipalities of other regions.
