PRESS RELEASE<\/a><\/p>\n

The registration of successful candidates of the 2025 National Examinations and the special category of those suffering from serious illnesses in the Schools and Departments of Higher Education begins today, which will take place electronically, during the period from Wednesday, August 27, 2025 to Thursday, September 4, 2025. <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The registration of successful candidates is carried out during the above period and must be done electronically.<\/u>, through the Electronic Registration Information System 2025. Successful candidates can access the Electronic Registration Information System 2025 of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports at the following address: https:\/\/eregister.it.minedu.gov.gr<\/a> .<\/p>\n

To enter the online application:<\/p>\n

A. The successful candidates of the Panhellenic GEL-EPAL Examinations of the year 2025<\/strong>, enter the candidate's 8-digit exam code as a username and as a security code (password), the same one they used to log in to the electronic application of the Computerized Bulletin.<\/p>\n

B. The successful candidates of the special category of those suffering from serious illnesses in 2025<\/strong>, are entered into the electronic registration application in the same way they were used to enter them into the electronic application of the Application-Computerized Serious Illness Form, using the email address as the username<\/u> which is listed on their Computerized Bulletin and as a security code that<\/u> that have already been configured for access to the Computerized Serious Illness Report.<\/p>\n

C.<\/strong> For both categories of candidates in the event that they have lost or do not know their security code<\/strong>, there is an option to set a new security code, via a relevant link provided in the application. They will then need to fill in the 8-digit candidate code and the email they have filled in on their Computerized Form.<\/p>\n

Successful candidates of the National Examinations<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Especially for those who passed the Panhellenic GEL-EPAL Exams, there will be 1\u03b7 <\/sup>September 2025 support from school units for access issues in the Electronic Registration application. In any case, for the convenience of all successful candidates, a detailed user manual with instructions for each step of the application will be provided in the electronic application.<\/p>\n

In the case where successful candidates had registered from the previous year<\/u> in a first-cycle study program of a Department or School of a Greek University or Higher Education Institution, are obliged, through the same Information System, to declare the School or Department in which they are already registered, thus simultaneously requesting their deletion from it, in order to complete the registration in the new School or Department of their success. Successful candidates who had registered in a previous year in a first-cycle study program of a Department or School of a Greek University or Higher Education Institution, but have already proceeded with their deletion, by contacting the Secretariat of the old Department\/School directly in the previous period (before the start of the electronic procedure), are also obliged to declare in the same point of the electronic application the Department or School of the previous registration.<\/p>\n

The registration application of the successful candidates through the Information System of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports involves the nature of a Solemn Declaration. After entering the application, the successful candidates will be asked to fill in their personal Social Security Registration Number (AMKA), which will be confirmed through interoperability with the National AMKA Registry. Among the other details that the user is asked to fill in his electronic registration application, is the Social Security Number or Passport number, which usually appears pre-filled with the corresponding value that the same user filled in his Computerized Form, but retaining the possibility of modification.<\/p>\n

During the Online Registration process, successful candidates are required to provide their contact details, mobile phone number and email address, which are confirmed through relevant mechanisms of the online application. It is noted that the correctness of the contact details is particularly important, as the Secretariats of the Schools\/Departments will have the possibility to use them in further procedures. After following the above procedure, the successful candidate's registration in 1th<\/sup> His semester of studies at the Department of Success has been completed.<\/u><\/p>\n

It is noted that the possibility of canceling a registration application that has been registered and has received a protocol number is provided until the end of the electronic registration deadline. Thus, in the event that someone finds incorrect information in their application after its final submission, they have the opportunity, through the Information System, to cancel the incorrect application and submit a new one. For the cancellation process, the user needs to fill in the 8-digit candidate code and the protocol number of the application to be canceled.<\/p>\n

For Military Academies, Police Academies, Fire Academy Academies, Merchant Navy Academies, Coast Guard-Hellenic Coast Guard Academies and Higher Schools of Tourism Education, the deadline and registration procedure for successful candidates is determined and carried out by the competent Ministries.<\/p>\n

Winners of the special category of those suffering from serious illnesses<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The successful candidates of the special category of those suffering from serious illnesses<\/u>, after completing the online registration, they must, themselves or through an authorized person, submit to the Secretariats in person or, alternatively, by mail with registered letter and return receipt requested, the following supporting documents in order to complete their registration:<\/p>\n

a) A clear photocopy of their identity card or other public document, which proves their exact date of birth and their name details.<\/p>\n

b) A clear photocopy of the Graduation Certificate: high school diploma or degree or proof of the school from which they graduated.<\/p>\n

c) A clear photocopy of the Certificate of diagnosis of the disease issued either a) by a competent seven-member Committee of the hospital, as established each year, by ministerial decision, in accordance with joint ministerial decision No. F.151\/17897\/B6\/2014 (Government Gazette 358 B'), or b) by the Committee for examining objections of candidates with serious diseases for admission to Tertiary Education at a rate of 5%, which is established by joint ministerial decision, following a recommendation from the Central Health Council (KESY) of the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n

d) Three (3) passport-style photographs.<\/p>\n
