Call for Applications for the Academic Year 2025-26<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Postgraduate Studies Programme<\/strong> \"Political Economy\" <\/strong>(MSc in Political Economy) that organizes and operates the Department of Economics<\/strong> of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) invites interested parties to submit application form<\/strong> for their participation in the 7th cycle of studies, academic year 2025-2026.<\/p>\n

The aim of the programme is the systematic teaching of the most important theoretical issues and methods of analysis that are at the heart of Political Economy, the highlighting of the social dimension of the field of Political Economy and the direct connection of theoretical approaches to economic and social policy issues. Particular emphasis is placed on theoretical approaches (Marxist, post-Keynesian, institutional, evolutionary, etc.) that depart from mainstream economic theory, in order to promote the pluralism of ideas that constitute the broad spectrum of contemporary Political Economy.<\/p>\n

Successful completion of 12 courses leads to the award of a Master of Science in Political Economy and gives access to doctoral studies. Attendance can be full (3 academic semesters) or partial (up to 6 academic semesters).<\/p>\n

The start of the courses of the MSc will take place on 13 October 2025. For the convenience of working students, the courses will be held in the evening hours 18:00-21:00.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Submission of applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

The invitation is addressed to:
\n- Graduates of economics, law, socio-political, or natural sciences or polytechnic faculties\/departments of universities and related departments of the Greek language or departments of recognized similar institutions abroad, as well as graduates of technical universities of related cognitive subject,
\n- Graduates of the above categories, who will become graduates during the September 2025 examination period.<\/p>\n

The application and evaluation period will take place in two cycles: <\/strong>
