On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, the reception of the first-year students of the Department of Economics of the National University of Athens took place.<\/p>\n

The new students were welcomed by the Vice President of the Department of Economics, Professor Mr. Ioannis Leventidis, and the Professor of the Department and Member of the Board of Directors of the National University of Athens, Mr. Dimitris Kainourgios, who congratulated them on their success and wished them a good start and a creative academic path.<\/p>\n

As part of the established annual reception, the history and academic profile of the Department, the Curriculum, as well as the opportunities and services provided to students during their studies were presented.<\/p>\n

Particular mention was made of the Library of the School of Economics and Political Sciences and the services it provides, as well as the opportunities for academic and professional development offered by studying at the Department.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by members of the Department's teaching and administrative staff, who informed the first-year students about issues related to their studies and shared useful information and experiences with them.<\/p>\n

Also participating in the reception was Mr. Yannis Koutsourelis, a graduate of the Department of Economics and Consultant at ICAP Advisory, who spoke to the students about his professional career and the utilization of the knowledge and skills he acquired during his studies.<\/p>\n

The Department of Economics welcomes new male and female students to its academic community and wishes them good progress and every success in their studies.<\/p>\n
