The Department of Economics of the National University of Athens in collaboration with the Department of Economics of the University of Thessaly are organizing the Panhellenic Student Economics Competition<\/strong><\/a> which leads to International Economics Olympiad<\/a> and, for those who receive a medal, admission to tertiary education.<\/p>\n

Who is it addressed to?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Panhellenic Student Economics Competition is held in three phases and students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of high school can participate.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why should students participate in the Competition?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Competition aims to provide a substantial deepening of the concepts of Economics and to cultivate a documented understanding of developments in the market, the stock exchanges, and the Greek and international economy.<\/p>\n

Through their participation, students become familiar with the way of thinking of the modern economist and gain the opportunity for meaningful academic interaction with educators and academics.<\/p>\n

Finally, the winners have the opportunity to represent the country at the International Economics Olympiad, where they come into contact with top students and distinguished scientists in the field.<\/p>\n
