The opportunity is given to the students of the Department, within the framework of their studies at undergraduate or postgraduate level, to apply their academic knowledge in a work environment, in Employment Agencies (public or private enterprises and organizations). The Internship is explicitly guaranteed as a form of conducting teaching work. Through the Internship, the more substantial assimilation of academic and educational knowledge is promoted as well as the familiarization of students with the work environment and the requirements of the professional field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DURATION OF THE TRAINEESHIP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The student should investigate whether the positions offered by companies are full-time or part-time.<\/p>\n<p>The student can ONLY carry out one of the three practicals in the spring semester with NSRF funding:<\/p>\n<p>The internship can be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 months (full-time)&quot;, 8 hours per day, excluding weekends, i.e. a total of 40 hours per week,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>6 months (part-time)&quot;, 4 hours per day, excluding weekends, i.e. a total of 20 hours per week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>6 months (part-time)&quot;, 8 hours per day for 2 days a week and one day a week will be worked for 4 hours, except weekends, i.e. a total of 20 hours per week,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>POSSIBLE START OF PRACTICE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students begin their employment at Employment Reception Agencies\u00a0\u00a0<strong>at the beginning of the Spring Semester, in the month of MARCH 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When is Student Attendance Mandatory?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Student participation\u00a0<strong>IT IS MANDATORY in the educational - information days concerning the internship process,\u00a0<\/strong>which must be attended by students interested in carrying out a Practical Exercise, which takes place following an announcement during the winter semester.<\/p>\n<p>Student participation\u00a0<strong>It is NOT MANDATORY in educational-informational days and workshops (<\/strong><strong>workshops<\/strong><strong>),<\/strong>\u00a0to which representatives of companies, organizations and scientists are invited as speakers, experiential workshops, CV writing days, etc. It is possible to issue certificates of attendance to participants.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indicative content of the workshops\/workshops concerning the internship process and which are mandatory for students to attend:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Information on the Internship Procedure and Regulation of the Department of Economics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indicative content of the workshops\/workshops concerning information from institutions and development of student skills, which students are not required to attend<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV Writing Workshop<\/li>\n<li>Correction of student CVs<\/li>\n<li>Workshop &quot;Sharing my Experience with you&quot; \u2013 Participation of students who have already completed a Practical Exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Workshop &quot;INTERVIEW and the Use of Appropriate BODY LANGUAGE for FINDING A JOB&quot; \u2013 Experiential Workshop<\/li>\n<li>Experiential Interview Workshop<\/li>\n<li>Introduction Days with Employment Reception Agencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Which students are eligible to participate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Student selection criteria for Internship at the undergraduate level, as described in detail in the Undergraduate Internship Regulation:\u00a0<\/strong>Undergraduate students will be selected for internship positions based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<p>\u2b9a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>1<\/strong><strong><sup>th\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong><strong>criterion: number of courses with a successful examination of at least 20 courses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2b9a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>2<\/strong><strong><sup>th\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong><strong>criterion: to have completed a minimum of four (4) semesters of studies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2b9a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>3<\/strong><strong><sup>th\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong><strong>criterion: successful examination in<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2b9a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>at least two (2) Module courses (formerly orientation courses)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The above criteria are assigned points.
