Types of PS. What are the functions of PS within an organization and between organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Flow of information within the organization and examination of the use of information by the organization&#039;s management. Correlation of IS concepts and operational issues. Redesigning the Organization with IS.<\/li>\n<li>MS, organization and business strategy. The competitive advantage offered by MS.<\/li>\n<li>Data and knowledge management: Information Systems, Databases, data mining and knowledge management resulting from them (Knowledge Management Systems), data warehouses and data markets.<\/li>\n<li>Use of information systems to support operational and administrative activities of an organization (decision support systems \u2013 DSS, Management Information Systems \u2013 MIS, Knowledge Mining, customer service systems). Evaluation of information by management and strategic exploitation of information systems.<\/li>\n<li>Business applications: Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Systems, Enterprise-wide Services.<\/li>\n<li>The changing role of IS in organizations. Understanding the business value of IS and managing change. Organizational change. IS development and organizational change.<\/li>\n<li>Ethical and social issues in digital business.<\/li>\n<li>Telecommunications and computer networks. Characteristics of a modern corporate telecommunications system.
