Kountouris<\/p>\n<p>This course, in a seminar format, is optional and aims to help students delve deeper into the field of Political Economy as well as to become indirectly familiar with the methodology of the sciences and, in particular, to study through the Greek case how the ideas of Economic Science are produced, reproduced and expanded.<\/p>\n<p>The period of the Greek state from its foundation until the 1970s is chosen as a frame of reference. The contribution of mainly Greek academic economists is examined, without excluding the examination of other Greek citizens (politicians, journalists, intellectuals, etc.) who contributed to the formation of economic theory.
