The course focuses on the processes of industrialization, modernization and structural transformations, as well as the imbalances and limitations that arose. Particular emphasis is given to the post-war course, the relations of dependence with the international factor and the gradual integration of the country into European institutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Early 20th century<\/strong>: Analysis of the economic structure after the annexation of the &quot;New Countries&quot; and the effects on the sectors of production, fiscal policy and international trade.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Period 1912\u20131922<\/strong>: The economic and social consequences of wars, the Asia Minor Catastrophe and refugee settlement as a factor in demographic and productive restructuring.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Interwar period<\/strong>: The difficulties of industrialization, the crisis of 1929 and the consequences of the decoupling from the gold standard. Examination of the role of the state and the limits of economic policy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Occupation (1940\u20131944)<\/strong>: Economic disintegration, inflation, famine and destruction of infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Post-war reconstruction (1946\u20131952)<\/strong>: The contribution of international aid (Marshall Plan), the basic reforms and the conditions of post-war development.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Development 1953\u20131973<\/strong>: High growth rates, industrialization and integration into international organizations. At the same time, emergence of structural inequalities (regional, social, productive).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Post-revolution (1974\u20131993)<\/strong>: The transition to democracy and the effects of international crises.
