Welcome to my home page.
In it you will find details of my research interests, publications (including many downloadable files) and information on my teaching.
Before taking up my current appointment here at the University of Athens' Department of Economics, I taught economics and political economy at the University of Sydney, Australia, for a good twelve years. Before that I had taught in the UK, at the Universities of East Anglia, Essex, Cambridge and Glasgow.
My research interests are focussed on game theory and related experimental work, theories of conflict, political philosophy (with an emphasis on rationality, liberty and solidarity) and political economy. Below you will find links to my publications and research interests.
Some of you may have entered this site in search of information regarding the doctoral program which I set up in 2003 and served as Director till October 2008. It is known as UADPhilEcon (The University of Athens International Doctoral Program in Economics). For more information on UADPhilEcon, please visit www.UADPhilEcon.xx and/or write to info@uadphilecon.xx (please replace the .xx at the end of these addresses with .gr; the usual anti-spamming ploy.)
